Twenties Brand Mock-Up

Twenties Brand Mock-Up

The overall feel I was going for was energetic, warm, inviting as well as sophisticated and modern. All these characteristics are communicated through the font type chosen, the color palette and color grade on the images and the logo.

The tangerine, being the prominent color, communicates according to color psychology, warmth, enthusiasm, and fun and energy. The blue is to add the more sophisticated feel, along with the brown and creams which are natural colors, communicating "down to earth" and authenticness.

The logo, being the 20 in a triangle may be simple, but can be very affective. Because it is simple, it is easy to identify so put that on any of your media and the 20's will notice it easily. It can be redesigned easily enough without loosing its integrity, so maybe invert the open triangle to a fill color and make the text opaque(think of Hillsong's logo) The triangle hasn't been used in any other NCF designs so is fresh and so easily identifiable with a new brand as its new to the scene. The triangle is also very popular at the moment so it will attract attention.

The curvy font I chose is called "wisdom script", so download from "dafont" its a website just type it in and youll see it, for free, and use it whenever you do 20's design to keep brand integrity. The font in the logo is Novecento wide. So download them both and use them in any thing you do to enforce brand. The reason I have both is because its effective having a curvy and clean cut typeface as they compliment each other.

I think it will be nice to use authentic textures a lot, so like the coffee beans, and the wood etc to communicate various things where appropriate of course. The black and white photos can also be implemented throughout designs for a more sophisticated feel. The set of black logos attached that you'll see I used in some designs are examples of how to use the texting in adverts, so take those standard five or so and use them continuously in slides and designs and soon people will catch onto the feel of texting over pics.
